ProBiz 2010 is nationally recognized as the premier small and minority business procurement opportunity conference. This one-day event is co-sponsored by the National Business League of Greater Washington, Center for Minority Business Development, African American Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County, and other organizations. ProBiz 2010 brings together small businesses with key procurement officials, financing resources, powerful technical assistance seminars, informational exhibits and leading policy decision-makers. This year's conference is expected to attract over 300 attendees from the Mid-Atlantic region. Key representatives from local jurisdictions and independent entities exhibit their programs and procurement opportunities. ProBiz 2010 encourages major federal agencies to participate in seminars and exhibits. ProBiz 2010 is held May 18, 2010 at the Marriott Hotel in Greenbelt, MD. Tuesday morning registration begins at 8:00 am with a full day of workshops, displays, contract financing, government marketing intelligence, new construction projects, IT procurement opportunities, services and commodities.
WHAT
IS PROBIZ 2010?
The Annual ProBiz 2010 is the Most Significant Small and Minority Business Procurement Opportunity Conference in the Mid-Atlantic region. This event is designed to increase the success rate of new job creation by healthy small businesses. Special opportunities for small, minority, women-owned, hub zone, service disabled veterans and others will be presented. Local and state programs for opportunities reserved for small businesses will be highlighted by local experts. Small businesses will learn how to increase revenues and major organizations will improve their productivity by expanding their “preferred vendor” list. Many cross-cultural business relationships will be developed among competent business owners.
